The island of Lokrum – a little getaway near Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik’s inhabitants are spoilt for choice, as they can choose from a large number of beautiful beaches around Dubrovnik. Sometimes it’s not easy to choose, if you don’t have enough time, if you’re short of parking spaces, if some are crowded… But there’s one place we’ll always prefer: the island of Lokrum.

At last, spring has sprung and Lokrum is open to the public!

Lokrum is open to the public from April 1 to November 1, 2023.
Every day from 08:00 to 20:00, the Skala and Zrinski boats operate between the old port and the island of Lokrum according to pre-established schedules.

Schedules change as we move into the summer season and the days get longer. Likewise, towards the end of the season, the last boat leaves the island as the day lengthens.

Every 30 minutes, boats depart from the old port, i.e. at 9 a.m., a boat leaves from the old port. As the sails last about 15 minutes, the departure from the island takes place at 9.15 a.m… the boats follow the same schedule throughout the day.

Tickets can be purchased on site. As you enter the old port, on your right (between the Poklisar restaurant tables and the excursion offices), you’ll notice the Lokrum Island table and sales office.
Prices for the 2023 season are:
Adults – EUR 27 per person
Children and teenagers aged 5 to 18 – EUR 5 per person

Starting with the 2023 season, tickets can be purchased online at http://www.lokrum.hr.

Don’t forget:
LOKRUM IS A NATURE RESERVE AND A SPECIAL FOREST VEGETATION RESERVE.
It is therefore forbidden to endanger the island’s natural and cultural assets, litter, bring dogs or light fires. Smoking is prohibited. It is forbidden to spend the night on the island.

Arrival and departure on the island are organized from Dubrovnik’s old port, where you’ll find sailing schedules.
