Private Dubrovnik City Walls Tour | Expert Local Guide

City Walls Private Walk

Walk the World's Most Beautiful Medieval Fortifications with a Local

Don't just walk the walls—understand them. While thousands of tourists rush through the 2-kilometer loop, join me, Vesna, for a private 2-hour experience. We will time our walk to catch the best light, avoid the cruise ship crowds, and uncover the military secrets of the Republic.

Unbeatable Views & Expert Photography

I know every corner where the light hits the terracotta roofs just right. As we walk 25 meters above the ground, I’ll help you capture the perfect shots of the Adriatic and the Old Town, while explaining how these 16th-century bastions remained unconquered for centuries.

Minčeta & Bokar: The Guardians of Freedom

We’ll explore the mighty Minčeta Tower, the highest point of the walls, and the Bokar Fortress. I’ll share stories of the brilliant architects and the "citizen soldiers" who stood guard here, protecting the Republic’s most precious asset: Libertas.

Private Guided Walk 170 EUR

(Price per group up to 8 people. Tickets not included.)

Vesna - Your Local Dubrovnik Guide

Meet Your Guide: Vesna

I wasn't just trained to be a guide; I was born and raised within the rhythm of this city. Dubrovnik is my home, my history, and my life's passion. I’ve seen its streets in their most golden moments and stayed through its most challenging days during the war in the 90s.

For me, showing you Dubrovnik isn't about reciting dates from a textbook. It's about sharing the soul of the Republic, the resilience of our people, and the small, hidden details that only a local eye can catch. When you walk with me, you're not just a tourist—you're a guest in my home.

City Walls FAQ: What You Need to Know

Are City Walls tickets included in the tour?
No. Tickets for the City Walls must be purchased separately at the entrance or via the official Dubrovnik Pass. We recommend getting the Dubrovnik Pass as it offers the best value.

Is the tour private?
Yes, all my tours are 100% private. This allows us to walk at your pace, stop for photos whenever you like, and focus on the parts of history you find most interesting.

Where is the meeting point for the Walls tour?
We usually meet at Pile Gate, which is the main entrance to the walls. However, since it's a private tour, we can coordinate the best spot based on your location.

What is the best time to walk the walls?
To avoid the heat and the crowds, I highly recommend the early morning or the "Golden Hour" before sunset. My private tour is timed to give you the most comfortable experience.
