Public transport à Dubrovnik
Libertas Dubrovnik, public transportation
Dubrovnik, as a small town, can literally be visited on foot. From one end of the city, you can reach the other in just 60 minutes on foot. This could be one of the ideas if you’re in Dubrovnik for several days and want to discover parts of the city that are off the beaten tourist track.
Libertas – public transportation company
If you want to get around quickly, there’s also the city’s public transport service. The company providing public transport in and around Dubrovnik is Libertas. Their coaches are easy to spot, as they are all orange and different in color from the multitude of buses that pass through Dubrovnik.
9 city lines and they are:
Lines 1A and 1 B connecting Dubrovnik and Mokosica.
Mokosica is the district just outside Dubrovnik, and even if you’re not located in this part of town, or perhaps in the Dubrovnik Marina, these lines will be of great importance to you. Namely, the city’s biggest parking lot (and also Dubrovnik’s cheapest) is located in the port of Gruž. This is where the bus stop for both routes is located. If you’ve come to Dubrovnik with your car, I suggest you park there and take a local bus to the old town.
Line 3 connects the village of Nuncijata – Pile
This line is particularly important for the same reason as lines 1A and 1B, namely because of the station next to the parking lot.
Line 4 connects Hôtel Palace – Pile
If you’re staying in one of the Vis, Splendid, Komodor or More hotels, or in private accommodation in the Lapad district, this is the line for you.
Line 5 Victoria – Babin Kuk
This line connects the entire southern part of the city (the area south of the old town) with the village of Babin Kuk, known for its many hotels and private accommodations.

The line that connects Babin kuk as the part of the city with the most accommodation and the port of Gruž, the city’s market, the starting point for many boat trips and lines and Dubrovnik’s main railway station.

The line connects the port of Gruž, the city’s railway station, the market and the city’s commercial center with the southern part of Dubrovnik.

This line links the Old Town and Dubrovnik General Hospital. The bus passes through the city’s commercial district, Gruz , to Dubrovnik General Hospital.
Line 17 Pile – Bosanka.
This line is mainly intended for transporting Bosanka residents. This doesn’t mean that tourists can’t use it either. If you prefer to walk in nature, take this line and climb to the top of Srd.
