From Dubrovnik to Korčula by catamaran

First, we’ll start with the fastest travel option – a trip from Dubrovnik to Korčula by catamaran. This trip isn’t just popular for the speed, but also for the catamaran experience.

The catamaran lines connecting Dubrovnik to the island of Korčula dock in the town of Korčula.

Catamarans from Dubrovnik to Korčula depart several times a day:
– departs daily at 07:00. Arrival in Korčula is at 09:00.
This is a direct line, which means it does not stop on the island of Mljet.

– departs Dubrovnik at 16:15. Arrival in Korčula at 6.15pm.

– departs Dubrovnik daily at 13:00 01.01. – 01.06. & 02.10. – 31.12.
From 01.06. to 01.10. departure daily at 2.30 p.m.

For all three catamaran lines from Dubrovnik to Korčula, it is advisable to buy tickets online in advance. All catamarans depart from the port of Gruž and it is necessary to arrive at the port 15 minutes before departure.

Dubrovnik to Korčula by bus

If you’ve opted to travel by bus from Dubrovnik to Korcula, there are several routes to choose from.

Dubrovnik to Korčula by bus

First of all, it’s worth pointing out that bus routes run from Dubrovnik to Orebić. Orebić is a small town on the Pelješac peninsula and is located just opposite the island and town of Korčula.

The distance between Orebić and Dubrovnik is 123 km, and the bus journey takes around 2 hours and 45 minutes. Bear in mind the increased traffic on the roads during the season.

Bus services from Dubrovnik to Orebić are provided by Libertas Dubrovnik d.o.o. and Arriva.
– Libertas Dubrovnik d.o.o. operates just one service a day, departing from Dubrovnik at 2:15 pm. The departure of this line from Orebić to Dubrovnik is at 05:00.

In low season Arriva has only one line to Dubrovnik, while in high season, due to higher demand, they introduce additional lines. Full details of routes and online bookings can be found on their website

Journey from Orebić to Korčula

They have two options for crossing the Pelješac canal

– Small boats linking Orebić and the town of Korčula.

– The ferry from Orebić to Dominče. If you’re traveling from Dubrovnik to Korčula by car, the only option is the Orebić – Dominče ferry. Unfortunately, the Dubrovnik – Korčula ferry line doesn’t exist.
